I always call Lilith’s Tears a Gothic Fairytale and a Dark Romance. The second part of that is a pretty simple classification - and it does sum up the story very well indeed. It is a romance both in the classical Romantic sense and the love orientated, romantic sense, but its very dark - its a destructive and dangerous kind of love.
