*Never Too Far* from a rant...
Hi Book Brats :)
Like most of you, TheSecretBookBrat HQ has been in a total frenzy over the release of Never To Far! I bought it yesterday & within 12 or so hours, I flipped the last page... WHAT A BOOK! :)
Before I start with my *RANT* about Never Too Far, I wanted to have a wee rant about Abbi Glines herself, who has yet again proven why she is Best Selling Author... I feel like it's important to recognise her as an Ambassador, not only for self-publishing authors but also for the New Adult genre that has taken our Indie Literary World by storm... She has truely paved the way for so many up and coming authors and has introduced us to Beau & Sawyer Vincent, Marcus Hardy, Jax Stone, Gage York, Preston Drake but the most famous & most lusted after, RUSH FINLAY <3
Right, speaking of Rush Finlay.... NEVER TOO FAR WAS AMAZING!! :):)
Fallen Too Far left us with a *BRUTAL* cliffhanger when Rush left Blaire in a motel room in her home town of Sumit, Alabama...
After a few weeks, Blaire makes the decision to move back to Rosemary after her best friend Cain proves for the last time that she really has nothing left in Sumit. After a *NOT-SO-SHOCKING* discovery, she heads back with a lot of apprehension about what lies ahead & is rather uncertain about her future, especially because she's no longer the only person she has to think about... (Please tell me ya'll will catch onto this because I'm *DYING* to say the words but I won't, in case some of ya'll haven't read this yet....)
Blaire has become one of my all time favourite characters - there were moments where my heart broke for this poor girl but I felt admiration when she took everything in her stride. She had to learn to trust Rush & Rush had to earn the right to have access to her heart again. We all know the outcome of this book was inevitable but I absolutely loved how Rush had matured since Blaire walked out of his life. When he learns of her return to Rosemary, he *LITERALLY* does everything *HUMANLY POSSIBLE* to win Blaire back, and that intensifies when he learns about her secret...
There were so many *WTF* moments throughout this book but in the end every moment proved significant... Rush & Blaire's story feels like a real fairytale - its messy, brutal and hurts like hell but shows that when you find the righ person, Love really is enough.... <3 My *FAVOURITE* moment??
This one --> "No man has ever loved a woman as much as I love you. Nothing will ever come before you. I don't know what else I have to do to prove to you that I won't hurt you. You don't have to be alone anymore. I need you." - Rush
(And I still hate Nan....)
I also loved Woods' role in this book - I am beyond excited that he will be getting his own book because there is so much more to him than meets the eye... #TeamWoods
Now many of us thought the ending was a little abrupt BUT.... and this is a *HUGE* but.... Abbi Glines has decided to release a 3rd book for Rush & Blaire!! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
Ok, after that mumble & jumble of thoughts I am out of breathe.... ;)
