I seem to have become a multi-generational writer. Cool! In this age of short shelf-life for fiction, I'm really grateful for that. One of the best fan letters I ever got was from a family who had been in the habit of reading my books out-loud to their children and wanted the next one before said children went off to college, Maybe that should make me feel old, but it doesn't. We are only as old as our heroes/heroines.
