If you don’t talk about your book, who will? For some of us it is ingrained deep inside of us that promoting ourselves is wrong. That’s why it’s important to see the value in your book. Instead of seeing promoting your work as boasting, look at it as letting others know about a fabulous book (that you just happened to have authored).
