New Europe writes about a seminar on child safety online that I took part in earlier:
Christian Engström, MEP [...] highlighted that ”Internet is not dangerous, the world is dangerous”. He explained that problems who are online, are also offline and that Internet is one of the safest environments for children. They can learn, play, practice languages and meet people around the world, besides develop their creativity.

In connection with the seminar I also did a web interview (4 min) where I make the point that the biggest Internet related threat to our children is that well-meaning but misguided politicians may remove and restrict the fundamental rights, such as the right to privacy and information freedom, so that our children will inherit a society that is less free than the one we got from our parents.
