So…

So, it’s been a minute. I put my book Bird of Paradise: How I Became Latina to bed last week. It’s out of my hands and off to the printer. Excited. Now, shifting gears and am committing to scribing here more often. As a matter of fact, it was the only thing I really resolved to do in 2013 aside from spending more time with my kids and huz. Ok, that’s not all I resolved. I want to finish my documentary, start writing my next book, and travel, travel, and, um, travel.

Stop by frequently. I got lots of stuff to say.

PS: I was pleasantly surprised when I came across a post by fellow scribe Lori Tharps about my book.  I love it when people who review books actually read them: that doesn’t always happen.
