Digital Autographs, Virtual Bookcases and More | Lynn A. Robinson

How things have changed since the first edition debuted!
Divine Intuition: Your Guide to Purpose, Peace and Prosperity, Revised and Updated  is available in hardcover, ebook, and audio book formats. I loved experimenting with all of the exciting opportunities that today’s technology offers book lovers. Here’s a roundup of the new ways I’ve celebrated my book in the 2013 publishing world:
Can you autograph...my ebook?
Authorgraph.com is an amazing new site that I’m proud to be a part of. I hope it catches on! I think everyone with an e-reader should sign up immediately! Simply log in with your email or a Twitter account and you can request personalized inscriptions and autographs straight from the author. People bemoan the demise of the written word, and I’m as nostalgic as any reader, but it’s things like this that remind me how much more connected we are these days - in the best sense. Request my John Hancock today!
Read anything good lately?
Reading is just about the most social of any solitary activity I can think of. In fact, the topic of literature is pretty much the shortcut to any reader’s heart, even the most introverted. People love to share what they read, to dissect every last detail in book clubs, to sneak a peek at the cover when someone reads in public, to gab with other patrons at the library checkout desk (with the occasional “Shh!” from a librarian). Now the bookworms have plugged in and signed on, with an array of wonderful social networking sites devoted to books, and Divine Intuition is proudly represented on all of them. People swap recommendations, reviews, ratings, favorite quotes, and much more. Once you request an invitation, Riffle is a wonderful app and syncs with Facebook. Shelfari is integrated with Amazon for easy purchasing when you’ve found your next read. Educator- and librarian-friendly, LibraryThing gathers together tons of extra information about the book — bonus stuff like reading guides and excerpts.  And Goodreads is renowned for its great freebies and contests!
Divine Intuition, as narrated by Lynn A. Robinson
Audiobooks have been a touchy subject among readers - you either love them or hate them. Typically they were mostly enjoyed by people with long commutes who were easily bored by the radio. Then came CDs, and digital radio stations that seemingly offered every song ever recorded. It seemed that audiobooks, like Eight Tracks, might become relics of a bygone age,. That is, until the iPod generation discovered them. And now in 2013, who doesn’t have an iPod, or some other miniature device fully loaded with audio entertainment? Well, get ready, because I have personally recorded Divine Intuition as an audiobook. And while I’m not considering an encore career as an actress, I hope you’ll enjoy the MP3 version!
