Hi Jane, Perhaps when the new book is written, I'll have a go at it again. I have a sneaking suspicion that we have read MANY of the same books. I know you like thrillers. I've read hundreds or thousands. That's why I read less of them now. Plus, the overall quality by Anglo-authors seems to have declined. And by sheer numbers of books read, it's difficult to picture that we haven't read at least a couple hundred of the same books.
It's funny you mention the quality of Anglo authors. Which is why I keep reading and discovering Nordic authors

Ah...but you are so young...what's another few hours.
Let me go see if I've read the same couple hundred books you've read.
By the way...I'll be 80 years old in six months! And I started reading at age 14...when I could access the adult library books in that small Southern town library. One of books I read: Strange Fruit (1949) by Lillian Smith.
