Julie Compton is the author of the legal thriller, Tell No Lies, the psychological thriller Rescuing Olivia, and the soon-to-be-released Keep No Secrets (a sequel to Tell No Lies). Orlando Magazine called her debut Tell No Lies "suspenseful and genuinely sexy," and Kirkus gave it a starred review, saying it was "[a] taut, tense, cautionary tale complete with courtroom drama and a surprise ending." Publishers Weekly called Rescuing Olivia "intense, entertaining" and NPR's "Florida Book Page" said it was "sharp, tightly plotted and sexy . . . an absolute page-turner." Her novels combine the suspense of thrillers with the drama of human relationships.
An attorney by profession, Julie once worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, but in 2003 gave up law to pursue writing full-time. She lives near Orlando, Florida.
