What do you think of Deadpool? I work with teens, and some of my boys absolutely love him, but whenever I see pages, he's really disrespectful to women. True, I'm seeing them out of context, but it only motivates me to steer my teens towards other heroes.

I love Deadpool, I wrote him when I started my career a while back.

He’s never correct about anything, he’s an awful person who sometimes almost accidentally does the right thing. I’m sure some writers write him as hateful towards women, but I always thought of him more as simply juvenile and goofy towards them. In my issues, his only trusted friends were both women, Sandi and Outlaw.
