More #craigslist Junk #amNOTwriting

This goes right on the pile of things not worth your time and energy.  Someone who doesn’t believe in her work enough to find someone worthy of assisting her with it.  It’s a crap listing for all the obvious reasons.  She’s getting a book published, probably the intention is to make money, but she wants you to edit it for free to ‘put it on your resume’ and ‘get some practice’.  Any company that might be in the need of a good editor would look at the bullet point where you edited someone’s manuscript for free who went on to sell it would either lowball you because he could or laugh you out of his office.  Either way, he would have no respect for you.  And practice?  I have no clue what that even means.
