We LPOC's need to unite and buy our own farm of mongrel peacocks. Would at least solve the cool day job issue and the llama milking issue.
I want in on the mongrel peacock farm. I have started working on short stories while my English professor edits my novel, but I've only written one!!!~em

Shawshank is a good movie! Hope you had a great time at the book festival! And no I don't milk llamas! LOL! Those things'll spit on you!And you're not lazy! Writing a book has got to be one of the most difficult things ever! It takes me forever just to write fan fiction! Like Budd said 'Quality over quantity' and that's what you deliver! Keep your head up and I hope you have a great week! :)
All peacocks are mean. I imagine mongrels would have the added the dimension of resentment toward purebred peacocks, which upon consideration, could make a kick ass short story. Or not. The moral is, "Don't compare yourself to others. They are always better than you in your mind." Deep...I know.

Thanks, Kerry! Good point about the llama milk. How would you keep the spit out?
Speaking of Shawshank, it was filmed in my hometown, and my great uncle was an extra! Apparently you can see him walking away with his tray at the beginning of the cafeteria scene?
