New & Improved Serenity's Dream is now available

Today is release day for the new version of Serenity's Dream. I have long wanted to give it a good scrub, get rid of the passive voice and filters, and put some more meat on the bones. It is done and I am pleased with the result.
Serenity was my debut novel and I was pleased that it got published. However, as I've grown in writing, I saw flaws that I wanted to fix.
The character of Haynes begged for his own story, but it took until now to flesh it out. I had it in mind, but wasn't sure how to implement it. Eventually, I chucked the idea because no matter how I thought about it, it didn't work. What great insight we get as time passes. Now he has a story within Serenity's Dream.
Serenity and Lucien also have a backstory that is sweeping in its telling of what became of their marriage, etc.
In the rewriting of each of the Sapphire Club books, I listened to reader critiques, as well as reviewers. With Serenity's Dream, I felt that much wasn't explained. It is now. In Lord Decadent's Obsession, I truly thought that everyone would fall in love with Prentice Hyde, and that didn't happen. They just might now.
Each of those two books has an additional thirteen thousand words. Lots more story!
Chocolate, Tea, and the Duchess has undergone the most drastic changes. So much so, I've retitled it, Thornhill's Dilemma. The story is almost completely changed. Readers wanted Alexander Chilton to enter the picture much earlier and now he does. I've taken some risks in that book that I hope will meet with reader approval.
I am on the Noble Romance author blog all day today, with little tidbits about my books, excerpts, and an article I wrote about book covers.
I have my likes and dislikes on covers and I make them known. Check it out and tell me what you think about them. Do you get embarrassed by books that you read? I certainly do it the cover goes too far.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Hugs,
Brita
