Done.

I just sent Ruin and Rising, book 3 of the Grisha Trilogy, to my editor.

I am waaaay emotional.

Part of this is exhaustion and caffeine and the crazy state of being that I seem to require to finish a book.

Part of it is saying goodbye to these characters.

And part of it is the support I got from so many of you while writing this.

I’m going to try find ways over the next few months (through teasers or giveaways or whatever I can come up with) to say THANK YOU. (I want to shout everyone out by name but I’m afraid of forgetting someone so I’m going to leave that for when I’m a bit more coherent.)

Right now, I just want to say how grateful I am for every tweet and mix and ask and image set and edit and piece of fanart and just EVERYTHING. It made such a difference. It really kept me going when I just wanted to curl up in a ball and go buhbuhbuh.

I love you guys. I truly do. And I can’t believe I have to wait almost a year and a half to share this book with you.
