The Highland Clearances was an awful time for those living in Scotland who were forcibly removed from their lands to be replaced by sheep. But some actually benefited from making that move. Sometimes what seems like a horrible change in our lives can actually be a blessing.

I seriously doubt my writing would be where it is today if I hadn't moved on--what turned my world upside down--gave me the impetus to write my first historical romance, and after that, writing became my world.

Have you ever had something upset your way of life and you grew stronger, moved on, and actually were happier once you let go of that old way of doing things?

It is TGIF, yay! Except that means I am getting closer to 3 deadlines!!!
