More Info on Less Than Three Anti-Bullying Conference!

At long last, Minion Horde, I can tell you a bit more about what Auntie Heather has been up to behind the scenes!

As most of you probably know, Auntie Heather grew up being terribly bullied. Because of this—and because of the bullying that I have continued to witness over the years—I have made it my life’s mission to do what I can do to combat bullying. I speak at schools and conferences. I do what I can to be a caring ear to those who are trying to find a way out. And now…I’m holding an anti-bullying conference that you are all invited to attend!

The Less Than Three conference will be on October 19, 2013 at the lovely Spencer Road Branch library in Saint Peters, Missouri (which is very near to Saint Louis, Missouri). Tickets will be available shortly, but they WILL BE LIMITED, so once they go on sale, you should grab yours right away!

The conference will feature four panels of the most amazing YA authors around (as well as a cool social hour where you can meet your favorite authors up close and personal). Check out who you’ll have the chance to meet and hang out with:

Susane Colasanti

Andrew Smith

A.S. King

David Levithan

Ellen Hopkins

Jennifer Brown

Cheryl Rainfield

Dale E. Basye

Lisa McMann

T.M. Goeglein

Carrie Jones

Carrie Ryan

Antony John

Jody Feldman

Cole Gibsen

AND – here’s a secret that isn’t yet on the website – you’ll also have the chance to hang with Mari Mancusi!

More authors will be added soon, as well as more details. But for now, you have six tasks that your Auntie Heather has bestowed upon you:

1. Go check out the official Less Than Three website.

2. Share that website with everyone that you can, however you can. Link to it on your website, write about it on your blog, tweet about it, post about it on Facebook, call/text friends about it, put sticky notes on your friends’ foreheads, whatever!

3. Follow Less Than Three on Twitter.

4. Like Less Than Three on Facebook.

5. Hunt down the attending authors via their websites, their Facebook pages, their Twitter accounts…and thank them for generously donating their time to such an important cause. Tell them why you want to see them there.

6. Remember that you are not alone, and that Auntie Heather (and all of those involved in Less Than Three) love you very much.
