January round-up
A quick update.
I am currently in the process of typing up my handwritten first draft of Illusion, my sixth novel. I have written about 10 chapters so far, but as I haven't written anything new for the novel since mid-December, I have decided to type it up to remind myself where I am and how I should proceed. This is almost done, so I should be able to start writing more of it again in the next week or so.
I'm editing my new collection of short stories, Delusion & Dreams, an Anthology. Earlier this month, I wrote another short story for this collection, and a 'Part 2' for one of the older short stories. I have to type that one up, and generally edit the book.
Books I have read this month and can recommend to you are:
I've also had the opportunity to read the as yet unpublished third part of J. Michael Radcliffe's Beyond the Veil Trilogy! It's a really great fantasy tale. If you haven't read the first two books in the series, you should!

I'm impressed you handle multi-projects and still keep on top of your own reading so well, Maria. I can manage the odd blog etc. but the thought of handling a full length novel and a short story anthology simultaneously leaves me breathless (Maybe you could also take on board a handbook on 'How to be Prolific' too :-D)

LOL, thanks, Alan. It's certainly not easy keeping all the projects flowing. I also have a full time day job to contend with, as well as moderating the Bestsellerbound forum, and contributing to that blog; not to mention all the promotion that goes hand in hand with self-publishing. I am making myself tired just thinking about it! In all honesty I have no idea how I fit everything in. There's a lot of 'burning the midnight oil' involved :)
Thanks so much for the mention, Maria! My hat is off to you as well - it amazes me how you manage to work, write, moderate, and blog!! You do sleep on occasion, right? :)
Well, I've always been a bit of an insomniac, so that means I'm used to going without sleep. I do try to get a decent amount of sleep if I can though :)
