Jamila, Daren and Kenan are lions shapeshifters of twelve years living with their families in the Ngorongoro crater, Tanzania. They are great friends, always ready to live a thousand adventures, but while the sympathetic Daren is madly in love with Jamila, she only has eyes for the dark Kenan. When a convoy of poachers comes from America, however, everything changes...

Daren, who became a strong young and threatening man, is more than determined to keep his promise to Jamila. What he doesn't know is that now she has feelings so deep for him to drag them both into a vortex of intense emotions, which they cannot escape.
