Steven W. Booth, Publisher I started Genius Publishing for many reasons, but the primary one is, I love books. I love the look and feel of them, I love the experience of reading them, I love talking about them. I love making stories up, and I love when people read my stories. Books, in my opinion, are good. (It doesn’t hurt that I was raised by a librarian, either). Another reason that I created Genius Publishing is that I’m really good at making books. I have been doing print layout since 1989, and I have been building websites for over a decade (e-books, for those of you who don’t know, are mini-websites). When it comes to novels, I will put my e-books and print layouts up against any challenger, confident that my work will stand up to the best of the best. I earned my BA in Economics at UC Santa Cruz because I always knew that one day I’d be working for myself. I earned my MBA in Nonprofit Management because I love working with people who are excited about what they do (and volunteers are almost always excited about their work—hence the non-profit part).
