I will mention the same review as I mentioned for the other Hardy novel I read, which is about the tragic element in Hardy's novels that always left me sad and depressed. I liked this less than "A pair of blue eyes," but then good that I read it as reading a classic always enriches one's vocabulary and command over the English language.
