Great books I read in 2012

The only thing I enjoy more than writing is reading books. Seriously! Sure, I do other things. I have a life - honestly! I hang out, I love the movies, restaurants, theatre etc. But there is a small part of me that feels like all that stuff just erodes precious reading and writing time. ( I'm guessing some of you will relate :D )

Here are some of the great novels I read and reviewed in 2012 that stood out for me.

Young Adult

Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr

Finding Summerland by Paige Bleu (indie author)

In the Middle of Nowhere by Julie Knudsen (indie author)

Living Violet (The Cambion Chronicles #1) by Jamie Reed

The Moon Dwellers by David Estes (indie author)

Adult

A Bed of Knives by Elizabeth Jasper (indie author)

The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling

Goodnight Beautiful by Dorothy Koomson

NW by Zadie Smith

On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves

Here are some others that I didn't get around to reviewing but absolutely loved.

When She Woke by Hillary Jordan Looking for Alaska by John Green The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater Just Listen by Sarah Dessen The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto

BTW, I have a blog - finally! It's called My B-Spot and the link is: http://spot4susan.blogspot.co.uk/
