“Life” by Piper

This here’s a collaboration between me and my 7-year-old cousin-in-law, Piper. All lyrics hers:

LIFE

The sun is bright,

the moon is light.

The trees stand tall,

and the leaves will fall.

The birds will build nests

while the flowers just rest.

The children like to play

while the teacher looks away.

Piper and I have worked together before, most notably a couple years ago on the live favorite, “Everybody Makes You Cry Today,” which was unfortunately never recorded.
