I just started browsig through your excerpts. Haven't decided if I will wait until your done or not. I noticed there is a part of the story that is a flashback set in in DR which is my homeland...He sure did not like Los Minas. You have it as Las Minas but I assumed it's Los Minas a barrio in the capital. If it is that place, I agree with him. It sucks.

Hi Lauraadriana!!! Thank you so much for your comments! Yes I kept finding different names for the town. Thank you for giving me the correct name. I am going to go thru and make sure it's correct each time. I'm writing non linear this time around so sometimes I'm afraid I might be inconsistent with continuity or timeline. It's a very common occurance with me LOL I don't know if Monty hates the DR so much as he misses Mexico. He is partially based on an old friend of mine whose parents were missionaries to Mexico, Brasil and the DR. He's just an unhappy lad who has always felt like his parents just dumped him.
Thank you so much for reading. By all means please continue and never hesistate to point out anything that needs fixing or attention. I want it to be consistent and correct. Crush was pretty easy because it was from their childhoods to their adulthoods without a ton of flashing back, but Bright is a whole new ball game :)

I will do that Laura. Like I said I don't know if I can do the chapters or if I'll wait until it's all done. Judging on my experience with Crush having to wait to see how the characters end up, might be too hard for me! But I am curious!
And well Los Mina is not the nicest place in the DR and if he was stuck in some evangelical church community, all I can say is poor boy.

LOL I agree. Also, if you ever see anything that doesn't belong in my description of life in DR, let me know. My knowledge is pretty limited to what my friend tells me when he recounts his stories. :) But he is an American native, so I have to be accurate.
