Grateful, busy, crazy

My apologies to anyone I owe an email to. Wednesday, my mother was admitted into the hospital, at first in serious condition. I'm thrilled to say she's better now and may even be getting out today or tomorrow, but of course, that meant I wasn't checking my emails or doing much other work. I'm trying to get caught up on things now, and trying to finish my short story for the Death's Excellent Vacation anthology. It will be a work weekend for me, you can bet, but again, I'm so relieved my mother's
