My 'cool' level rose five points… in the eyes of my nephew

We were talking books.

He, like his dad, likes science fiction.  I asked if he had read the Stardoc books.  (yes, I'm talking SL Viehl again)

He said he had-loved them.

I absently mentioned I knew her.  (No, we haven't met in person, but still, email corresponsdence counts…and I email her.  A lot…she's kind enough to email back.)
