1- Get a start
There are millions of self-help books out in the market. And I don’t for a minute say that they are not effective. The thing with people is that, they get a book read it for someday and then they get back into the rut. As Zig Ziglar points out “motivation is like bathing- bathing doesn’t stay forever, so does motivation.” So the obvious thing to do is get motivated daily. To change this year is a great commitment, so every effort must be made. One thing about commitment is that it is a promise( do or die). Even giving excuses for a single thing can affect the entire commitment. These small breaks in commitment can eventually become so big, that you will be back to your old routine. THIS MUST NEVER HAPPEN. It is your responsibility to see to that it never happens. Changes can be uncomfortable, but as you persist for over 21 days, something amazing happens. You will start to realise that you are having momentum, you will experience FLOW. So start today to make a commitment and stick to it for 21 days. You can report your progress in this blog.
