Hi, Karla — I'm so glad you're enjoying the audiobooks. I find listening to the sex scenes to be very intense, as well. YIKES!
And thanks! I'm very excited to have RIDE THE FIRE in print again. :-)

I do have a very old copy of Ride The Fire but am really in two minds whether to go ahead and read it or wait until I get a copy of the new version. Problem is that I am too impatient and I am not sure if I can wait ha ha.
Can you just clarify for me - have you put in new material in the whole book or have you just added the epilogue? Because if that is the case then I may just go ahead and read the copy I have and then still get the new version so that I can read the epilogue. BUT if you have added new material within the whole book then it will be better to wait (although it will be very difficult ha ha). Also do you have any idea of if the new version will be released in E-format anytime in the near future, if so have you any idea of when?

I'm so glad you're enjoyed SWEET RELEASE and hope you enjoy CARNAL GIFT as well, Dee.
GREAT question!
I went through the original manuscript, and I edited it, making little changes throughout to the writing. There were a few scenes toward the end where I made more significant changes. And then the epilogue.
You could read the version you have now if you're really impatient and read the other version later. The new version will be out as an ebook when it releases in print. They don't list that on Amazon right away. Why? I have no idea. But it will be out in Kindle right away, except in Australia/UK, where it seems to be taking longer and longer to get ebook versions out (an issue of distribution rights).
Thanks for asking!
Also, everyone should remember there's a giveaway going on here on Goodreads. Go to the link for RIDE THE FIRE and scroll down, then enter to win a free copy. The publisher is giving 20 free copies away. :-)

Thanks very much for getting back to me Pamela.
I think I just might give in and go ahead and read the copy I have as it will probably be months before I get the opportunity to get my sticky little fingers on the new version of the book! :(((
I live in the UK and unfortunately, as you say we don't get the book at the same time and on most occasions does take months! I had the exact same problem with waiting for DEFIANT last year (Don't know if you remember but discussed the issue with you at the time!), and got really frustrated that I couldn't get it and even more so when the main topic of conversation between a majority of my friends here on GR's was about the book....I know that it isn't your fault and I know that you do everything you can but it is still really frustrating......I just wish the publishers would sort out whatever issues they have!
I love the I-Team series on audio. I now own the paperbacks, ebooks and audiobooks. I can't ever imagining parting with any of them. Even though I know the stories inside and out, on audio it's a whole new experience. I'm in the middle of Unlawful Contact and my favorite guy...Marc! Nothing like have a guy read you a sex scene! *fans self*
Congratulations on all your success!
