Raine Kendall is a formidable woman who’s managed to place her past behind her and make something of her life. She finds herself equally grateful and frustrated with her benefactor, the ultimate Dom of the scene, Macen Hammerman. Ever since Macen rescued her from the streets, Raine has had strong feelings for him which were first hero worship but have lately progressed into full-on love. She aches to be his submissive but Macen just won’t cooperate.
Enjoying her job at the club because it gives her a daily Macen fix, Raine feels the time is right to get him to notice her as more than a little girl. Entering his inner sanctum, Raine offers her submission to Macen and is rebuffed by this jaded Dom. Hurt to the marrow by his cruel words, Raine is comforted by Liam O’Neill. Liam knows deep down Macen is in love with Raine but feels he’s unworthy of her love and devotion. As a way to needle him into admitting his feelings, Liam offers to train Raine in the art of submission.
Wanting to be someone’s submissive, Raine takes up Liam’s offer to Macen’s consternation. Nothing moves a D/s plot more than a devious Dom and Ms. Black, Ms. Jacob, and Ms. LaPearl, deliver with one strong Dom in Liam O’Neill.
