The TRUTH!

I never touched her and I get the privilege of taking it to the grave with me. No matter what the statistics say, no matter who “thinks” they know best and no matter how many people hate me, I know the truth.  I live with the comfort of knowing what’s real, while I also get a dose of Hell for maintaining my innocence.

I hear the anti-SO groups screaming bloody murder, but I don’t listen.  I hear the advocates for sex offender reform screaming, but again I don’t listen.  I hear my conscience and that’s all I need. The TRUTH!

My accuser earned the ghosts, ghouls and naysayers that she hears.  It’s not a coincidence that the people involved with my case have met bad karma….It’s all their own fault.  I will continue to live as peacefully as possible and I won’t be afraid of the crazy loons walking the street who swear vengeance.  I know the key words:  The TRUTH!

I’ve learned a lot from the hate that now permeates my life, but I refuse to let it ground me.  I use the vile words I hear and turn them into poetry.  I write what I know and I know what I write.  Experience is King!  I listen to my heart and my soul and it pours out of me like sand through the thinnest part of the hourglass.  I write The TRUTH!

I’ve lost friends and gained enemies.  I’ve lost love and gained hate.  I’ve lost respect and gained contempt.  I will not falter; I’ll learn.  I’ll continue to learn that which makes the human spirit tick.  I’ll continue to grow in that which others would wither and die.  There’s no quit in my heart, only The TRUTH!

Do you know the TRUTH?  Do you know who you are and what it is you do?  Do you hate people without proof?  Do you turn away from a warm heart because yours is so cold?  If so, then do everyone a favor and look in the mirror….It couldn’t be clearer than in the reflection which stares back out at you.  do yourself a favor and find The TRUTH!

The TRUTH hurts, but it shall also set you free.  It did me!
