Around here lately...

The last couple of weeks have been busy with holiday buzz: date nights, lunch dates, crafty show dates, shopping, and more. I bought my first cowl (seen above) from a local artist (wish I had her name, but I lost it) and I'm in love.

I've been painting, a lot. Recently, I discovered that new TV show, Scandal, and I watched the entire first season via netflix in one sitting while painting about 4 paintings all at once. Bliss. LOVE watching TV and painting at the same time. That was a long day of painting - about 8 hours - which I almost never do, but I was so engrossed in the show, I couldn't stop. Super productive...

Lovely Christmas with the grands. True did not let his new microphone out of his hands the entire day. Best gift ever. 

Lately, when the grands come over, he orders them to his room to play. If John or I try to enter his room, we are ordered out. Well, okay, then!

We've entered the rainy season, friends. Above is what it looks like 90% of the time. I know, I know. 

But when the sun comes out, everything stops and we go out and ENJOY it. 


Friends, I cannot believe how quickly this is happening, how much he grows. He is the sweetest, dearest little being. 

And they keep my heart open. I'm a lucky girl.
