Smutty Advent - December 24

Xavier double checked the back rooms and the bathrooms, turning lights off as he went. He locked up the back exits and went to the kitchen, making sure everything was turned off. Humming, he made his way to the front door where Robin was waiting, chewing on his thumbnail.

"What's the matter?"

"Master Law was supposed to pick me up and he's not here yet."

"I'm sure something delayed him and he'll be along shortly. Don't worry, I'll wait with you." He was not kicking a server out into the street at nearly midnight.

"I'm sorry, Xavier."

He patted Robin's back. "Hush. He'll be h-- in fact isn't that his car?"

A sleek BMW pulled up and the window went down, Lawson clearly visible, waving to his boy.

"Thank you, Xavier!" Robin gave him a hug. "Merry Christmas."

"And to you, too, boy."

He waited until Robin was in the car and it had driven off and then locked up and headed for his own car parked across the street.

He grabbed the phone and hit 1 on the autodial.

"Eddie. I'm on my way home."
