"The color of springtime is in the flowers; the color of winter is in the imagination." ~
Terri GuillemetsI think this is true.
Spring's color is obvious; it's unmistakable, bright, and everywhere. But winter is mostly
white, gray, black. It's the perfect pallette for an artist, who can use it as a backdrop for beautiful, wonderful things. Only someone with little or no imagination could say that winter is just a dreary, awful season. It has its moments, that's for sure. But there is something about the resting world that can give rise to things that otherwise sleep in the mind.
