Have patience with the poor jet lagged author

Today (which is actually yesterday) I get on a plane to go home. Technically, I left on the 18th at about 5:00 PM. I'll land back in Pittsburgh just after midnight on December 20th. For those of you keeping track at home, that's about 31 hours of travel ahead of me. I'm trying to be excited. It's hard. I want to go home, but I'd really rather wave a magic wand and end up somewhere else.

Either way, four airports, three planes, two decent drives, and 1 trip through customs later I will in fact be home. For exactly 27 hours.
I will largely look like Grumpy Cat by the end of this
Yep, then I get to go back to the airport, hop on another plane, and head to Wyoming for the holidays.

When it's all done, I'll have flown nearly 12,000 miles over the course of 10 days. This does not include the several long drives that have to be made to get to and from the airports.

What I'm saying is that you might need to be patient with me. I only see my family once a year and it tends to be quite the whirlwind. I also haven't seen my husband in two months. We'll be...busy. So, if you need something, email me. If it's important, please say so and I will do my very best to get back to you right away. Otherwise, you may have to wait a couple days until I'm sitting down with a computer.
