YES I DID – I got a Mini-Me & Share the Love Contest!
Why oh why did I need an iPad Mini? If you think no one is asking themselves this question, I promise you that YES, one person is. Janelle … I’m waving! LOL. Not because I’m an Apple addict although I am. Not because I had this need to spend unnecessary money. I didn’t. (And I will sell my old one so it’s not like I’m duplicating). But the reason is this – portability and useability. I loved my Kindle, but the day I got my iPad and saw all those pretty bookcovers staring at me from my Kindle App was one of the best days of this reader’s life. (Yes, my life must be THAT lacking, LOL!). But it weighed down my bag, which hurt my shoulder, which is a weak spot from the writing, and it became a vicious cycle. Not to mention how much I hated typing on the big ipad. The separate keyboards sold for it don’t makeup for not having a mouse. So I read on it … but it was a very expensive e-Reader. And then came THE ANNOUNCEMENT. An iPad mini … really? Seriously? BE STILL MY HEART!
Yes, I ordered the day it went on sale. Yes, I bought the fancy one w/the 4G – because I remember how much I hated my Color Nook with wi-fi only and returned it. This thing is AWESOME. It’s so light I barely know I’m carrying it. And with the new way Apple links your messages – texts to your phone, IM’s, all show up in the same place – I don’t miss out on anyone in the family looking for me. Expensive? Yes. Indulgent? Yes. Worth it if you can swing it? I can only speak for myself. ABSOLUTELY!
