The Next Big Thing
Ok so what is the next big thing…. well here is a brief description
The chain was started by one author who answered 10 questions on his own blog, then tagged 5 other writers, who answered the same questions on their blogs the following week, and tagged another 5, and so on. Unfortunately, I was only able to get three (3) authors to agree to this; I’m hoping this doesn’t have too big of a ramification on this event
Here is the link to Charles’ page so you can see how it works: C. L. R. Dougherty
I was lucky enough to be invited to this event by Annamaria Bazzi an awesome author with her book “A Simple Matter of Justice” just released December 16, 2012.
Blurb for A Simple Matter of Justice: Abducted, raped and killed, Samantha is given a change to bring her killer to justice. In accepting the challenge from a talking wolf, she never imagined she would become a spirit hawk by night. In the turmoil of her new existence, would she find the courage to bring the killer to the forest where she knows he will receive justice?
Annamaria’s bio: Although born in the United States, Annamaria Bazzi spent a great deal of her childhood in Sicily, Italy, in a town called Sciacca. Italian was the language spoken at home. Therefore, she had no problems when she found herself growing up in a strange country. Upon returning to the states, she promised herself she would speak without an accent. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computers with a minor in Spanish. Annamaria spent twenty years programming systems for large corporations, creating innovative solution, and addressing customer problems. During those years, she raised four daughters and one husband. Annamaria lives in Richmond Virginia with her small family where she now dedicates a good part of her day writing.

MY TAGGED AUTHORS
Elizabeth Delana Rosa is an awesome person and author. Her first book was released November 20, 2012 and is titled “Child of Loch”
Elizabeth’s bio: I have always been a writer. When I first learned to write in Kindergarten, I wrote about pigs who “groo” wings and became “butterfys.” I knew way back then that I would have a love affair with writing. It over took my life and has been a constant companion. Now over 20 years later, that love flows over into writing blogs, reviews, poetry and fantasy novels. Lastly I am a big nerd. I love Fantasy, YA, Paranormal Romance, and Sci-Fi books. My dream is to promote authors and help them reach the highest level of Success, while writing my own Fantasy Novels.
Blurb for Child of Loch: Twenty-three year accountant, J.J. McDonnell, has spent her life trying to be normal and hide her gifts, but all dreams of normalcy are dashed on her twenty-fourth birthday. A handsome man shows up on her porch with a marriage edict and news that the grandfather she has never met, has died. Her world is about to change forever. J.J. must make the perilous journey to the Loch and take her place on its throne. With no idea of what is expected of her and dark forces closing in at every turn, will J.J. be able to accept her destiny or will she be stopped before she can?
January Valentine is another awesome author I tagged for this project.
January’s bio: January Valentine is the pen name of Victoria Valentine, New York writer and indie book publisher. I chose to use a pen name because Love Dreams was originally going to be a red hot erotic story, and I wanted to separate Victoria, who writes contemporary fiction and children’s storybooks. Since my birth month is January, January Valentine seemed an appropriate pseudonym.
Book Blurbs: “Love Dreams” is a story about a handicapped young man who secretly falls hopelessly (and helplessly) in love with a young woman who hides herself, and her past, beneath a grim but beautiful exterior. This gentle romance builds into a powerful “reality”.
“Sweet Dreams” is a novel about a serial killer who is on the loose, working his way up the east coast.
The last great author I was able to tag is TL Bliss an author of seven (7) books. Considering that she does have 7 outstanding books published I am only going to list her page from Amazon where these books can be found. This books range from help with youngsters against bullies and building self-esteem; to the beginner’s guide to juicing. Check out her books, you won’t be disappointed.
TL’s bio: I am an aspiring author who loves to travel with my husband and write about whatever touches my heart. These stories can be anything from Christian fiction, children’s stories, to self-help/how-to guides, and is not limited to any one genre. I hope you enjoy reading each of my books as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Now for my answers of the Next Big Thing questions
What is the working title of your next book?
I haven’t gotten a definite title set yet; but I am thinking of Revealing Visions
Where did the idea come from for the book?
This book is an off-shoot of the 2012 releases of the Valentine/Petrilo Trilogy. I have had many requests to learn more about the characters from the trilogy and what they were doing behind the scenes. This book tells of Janie’s younger years; what Daniel was doing when he was away so much; and just what all Rico’s job entailed.
What genre does your book fall under?
It will fall under the category of drama and romantic suspense.
What actors would you choose to play the part of your characters in a movie rendition?
I did an entire piece on this subject not too long ago…. check out the guest post at To Read or Not to Read…
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Hmm, for this particular book maybe something along the lines of the reality and revenge of a Mafia hit man.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
Self-published all the way!
How long did it take you to write the first draft of the manuscript?
I am still writing it and at present I have nearly 6000 words completed.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Wow, this is a hard question. All I can say is it’s a romantic suspense containing love, murder, betrayal, lies, and greed. So any books that fall somewhere in those categories.
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
My mother, she told me I could do anything I set my mind to.
What else about the book might pique the reader’s interest?
This book will go deep into the mindset of a Mafia hit man. For those that have enjoyed the Valentine/Petrilo Trilogy; they will finally see how Rico became who he is and where he came from. They will learn what events made Janie into the person she is; and exactly what Daniel was doing when he was away all those times.
I am thankful and honored to be a part of this multiple blog hopping event. Thank you for all who participated. Below is a link to where my books can be purchased. Again thank you. ~~Reyna Hawk~~
