My name is Brian Keene. I’m 45, single, the father of two boys, and enjoy fishing, astronomy, target shooting, and reading. I collect books, bourbon, and cigars. I live in the backwoods river bottoms of Pennsylvania. I identify myself as an Agnostic and a Libertarian who leans right on fiscal issues and left on social issues. I write books and comics — horror and crime, mostly, with the occasional divergence into sociopolitical commentary, westerns, science-fiction, etc. While most of my work is original, I’ve also written for such properties as Doctor Who, Hellboy, and Superman.

My most recent books are (in paperback) Earthworm Gods and Earthworm Gods: Selected Scenes From the End of the World, and (for the Kindle, Nook, and Kobo) Scratch.
