Can’t Figure Out What You Want?
She joked, “I feel I could do anything in my life, if only I new what it was that I wanted!” She explained that in her younger life she had been a real go-getter, always leaping from one big goal to another. Now in her late 50’s she still had lots of energy, but her high-achieving former self seemed to have vanished. I suggested that a vision board or treasure map may be the perfect thing to help her get clear. Here’s how to do it: Gather up a bunch of your favorite magazines along with a piece of poster board and some colored pens. Begin to cut out pictures of things that you want to create in your life and paste them on the poster board. You can also write inspirational sayings with your pens. Many people create a separate vision board for several areas in their life. For example, one may be for partnership, another career, money, travel, friends, or health. When your intuition knows what you want, it will give you guidance about the best direction to get there!
Shirley discovered that all of her images were about slowing down, exploring and resting. They weren’t about the get up and go lifestyle of her former self. Through the vision board process, she realized that she needed to give herself permission to be in a bit of a hibernation mode as her next step. That brought an immediate sense of relief. How about you? What is your soul longing for?
Do You Have Big Dreams?
I often hear from my intuitive reading clients that they have big dreams but have no idea how to manifest them. Unfortunately, this means they often give up on themselves and those dreams to soon. I belive that if something is in your heart, you’re meant to achieve it. God gives us sometimes miraculous help when we go after those passions of our heart. I’m a big fan of visualizing and it’s one of the ways to harmonize with the power of the Universe to achieve your goals. Use your emotions and your ability to visualize to imagine and dream about what you want. What picture comes to your mind when you imagine achieving your goal? While focusing on that, add color, texture, sounds and smells to your image. Amplify the positive emotions you feel. In your mind’s eye, see and feel encouraging friends around you congratulating you on your success.
I love listening to music when I’m visualizing. It helps me get into the right feeling or emotion. I’m sure you have your favorites that make you feel great. You might also check out the meditation music at www.BrainSync.com.
