I think I like the 'tight nit group' best! lol. I had to give a lecture to some first year midwifery students recently on documenting in patient's charts. I quoted a few of their mistakes at the end for some light relief. My favourite was, "I waited for the unpractical cord to stop beating then I cut it off."

Unpractical cord! I love that one.I think my favorite might be the student who thinks that hood is the past tense of to hide.
The worst time to have a death punishment is back before the 18th century, before laws.Death was so much deadlier then. :)
Good grief! I so want to ask... Nope, can't do it. Too afraid to know the answer.I found this by way of Lisa... So very simply, thanks for the chuckles, as well as the pain of knowing that these were written by university students. And people wonder "why/how" about some books these days. *SMH*
People had to walk with a letter such as A for mining adulteryMining adultery!! I would like to visit those mines if they are still exist, please.
I also love this beyond words: While patrolling the park they noticed a skeptical group of people dealing with drugs.
· Punishment historically has been done as a method for society to formally state what the normal behaviors are because for the most part society is afraid of things.Wow! Scary that, and of course it worries me that I *think* I know what was actually being said!
@Ami, those mines are very dangerous, nakkid people running around adulterating! ;)

LOL! And they can't blame it on auto correct? Being Norwegian I recognize a LOT of the mistakes, but hello?! I'm not born to the language. I was talking to a guy on an on-line dating service who claimed to be an American. His spelling was horrible, so much so that I couldn't talk to him anymore. I mean, was he stupid? Was he trying to fool me? Was he an alien from outer space!?
On the other hand, Norwegians doesn't seem to know their own language either......
PS: Loved Brute!

I'm glad you enjoyed! Reading these is both painful and amusing, isn't it?

Yes, the famous Adultery Mines. They're a tourist attraction nowadays.

Skeptical drug dealers are very noticable, I guess.

Sometimes I have to guess what the students are thinking.

English is hard to spell, but these were papers that the students had plenty of time to proofread, if they made the effort.
Kim wrote: "... English is hard to spell, but these were papers that the students had plenty of time to proofread, if they made the effort."Um, IDK, Kim... some of these go beyond the realm (read: help) of proofreading/auto-correct. *SMH* Case in point:
"They came across a job like this but they instead of helping them they told them to get there them self’s."
Did you even understand what the student was trying to say?

"You know what, Frank? How can we be sure this stuff is really crack?"
