Advent Day 6

Welcome to day 6! My most recent act of Christmas kindness was to let someone in front of me in line at the store.

I had hoped to have a big announcement today. It looks like I’m going to have to post about it tomorrow, though.

One of my favorite songs is Belleau Wood, a song inspired by the Christmas truce of WWI. The story of that truce always moves me and I’m planning on writing a book about it. I’ve found a short video on YouTube that some people have made recreating the events and set to the music. The song and the historical part of the movie start a little over 2 minutes in.
