I'm putting your name on a wand box.

One of the highlights from our family trip to London was visiting the Warner Bros. studio where they filmed Harry Potter. I'm not sure who was more excited - me, Steve, Ellen, or Charlie? It was amazing to stand in the dining hall of Hogwarts and to knock on the door at "4 Privot Drive."

The last room you walk through before you exit the studio is the wand room - it looks just like Ollivanders Wand Shop. There are over 4000 wand boxes, each with the name of someone who worked on the film series. It's such a lovely way to say "thank you" to everyone from the actors and the costume designers, to the special effects wizards.

As I was driving back home from carpool this morning I kept thinking, I wish I had a wand room so I could properly thank everyone I want to thank. Daring Greatly launched on 9/12, and it's been a total whirlwind. I couldn't have done it without the love, support, and encouragement of so many people - including all of you who read this blog.

I'm grateful for my family, friends, and support team who talked me off the ledge when I couldn't do it all and I felt like giving up.

I'm thankful for the friends who covered my carpool shifts, walked my kids home from school, and sent me texts to remind me about "free dress days" and "early dismissal."

I'm thankful for my students who did their dissertation consults over the phone, for the folks who hosted all of the events and the people who showed up, the interviewers, bloggers, writers, and journalists who shared the daring message, and, of course, the folks at Gotham Publishers.

There's a special place in my heart for Steve, Ellen, and Charlie who cheered me on every step of the way - even when they were ready for things to get back to "normal." They didn't give up and they didn't let me.

I'm also overwhelmed by your generosity! For my birthday I asked for donations to charity: water so we could build a tap in Rwanda that would bring water to a village and you donated close to $7000! Thank you!

I have a few fun things coming up in the next two weeks including fun holiday gift cards for those of you who want to gift Daring Greatly, and a suprise artist who did her own version of the Wholehearted Parenting Manifesto.

In the meantime, if you're a fan of Krista Tippett's wonderful radio show, On Being, we had a soulful conversation. The podcast and unedited interview is now available here.  At one point she playfully asked, "Is this an interview or a therapy session?" I've been thinking about that question. I think all good conversations are a little bit of both.

Also - thanks to Fast Company - I just found out today that Daring Greatly is on their list of the top business books of 2012. Such an honor.

Thanks to all of you. If I had a wand room, I'd put your name on a box.
