The best way to help an author out is to review the books online at all the places you frequent. And to spread the word about the books online as well. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate this gesture.

How reviews help?

To give you an idea, books with more reviews tend to get better placement in searches (at some stores). This equals more people seeing the books, which then equals demand for the author to write more in that series/genre. So if you like a book, be sure to tell people. Reviews don’t have to be long (just make them honest).
