My new novella, “Perdu,” is in its final editing stage, and I hope to be able to offer it for free from November 23-24 on Kindle. As you’ve come to expect, I’ll send out some snarky commentary on Wednesday or Thursday announcing the launch. With “Perdu,” I’ll also be offering for free (on Kindle) the first novelette of my Reassortment series entitled, “Vivetal” and my first novel, a stand-alone satire entitled, “Flexon Vale.”
Anyway, don’t expect any sparkly bloodsuckers in this vampire tale. If you’ve read anything I’ve published, you know to expect the unexpected when it comes to my work. Stay tuned for the launch, and the freebies, next week. I hope everyone has an awesome, safe Thanksgiving.

“Perdu” —the first novella in the science fiction and fantasy series, Redire de Vampyrus…
“I hope it was as good for you as it was for me.”
Ruth and Eugene Flowers desired the American dream: two kids, a big house and a dog. But it wasn’t meant to be—at least not initially. When a surprise package literally fell into their laps, however, the Flowers would finally get their wish (sort of). Soon, it all goes awry as mysterious deaths followed by a disappearance permanently disrupted their lives. Meanwhile, many years later, a grown-up Valerie Green, a nearby neighbor’s daughter and high school sweetheart of their son, Zan, hit it huge in the Big Apple, first landing at Columbia University, then at the New York Pioneer, the hottest online periodical in the city. When she is forced to cross the path of hot shot FBI special agent, Dr. Devean Rasr, she didn’t realize she was also wading much deeper into the biggest, dangerous and most challenging killing spree in the history of the city.
