First of all, thanks for this great piece, Jeff. Really, really good words here. So insightful. I think this exactly what I’m going through right now in terms of not wanting to be in my own doggone story… parenting two energetic boys is probably a big one, a close second is trying to get a book finished…the work aspect of it is so much more less romantic then when I started…or the absolute aura that surrounded me when it was just a dream. Now that it’s a reality with all of it’s grit and grime and unorganization I’m plain flummoxed. anyway, this is such a great, great reminder of facing the hard, and pushing through and trying to remember that one day I’ll be so glad I did this especially with my boys and hopefully with my book!
