Jaime. Oh Jaime. Do you know what GRRM did with Jaime was what convinced me he was a dang genius? Jaime is an (attempted) child killer, but I ended up rooting for him just the same. I love his character and his arc. Jaime/Brienne is one of my favorite ships (along with Gendry/Arya—yeah, yeah, age difference, blahblah), though I also just love the friendship they develop.
