Just listened to the podcast and appreciate the discussion around “being vs. doing”

Your example of how Andy view’s his children was an eye opener for me. God’s love for me is greater than my love for my 3 children. He enjoys me just being in his presence and me noticing his handy work in the creation. My desire should be to please Him, but he is not impressed with my “daily disciplines” if they do not also bring me joy.
