Bill and bird

Doris Nabors was over a couple of days ago and we got to talking about missing Bill, her husband for about forty years. Because of distance, he and I only got together a few times a year lately, shoot pool and discuss a bottle of wine, but in our occasional fellowship there was a kind of continuity I don't have anymore.
