Stepping Up to a Near Impossible Challenge

Barack Obama will assume the presidency of this country at a most inopportune time. We are in a recession that will likely get worse, though hopefully not too much so, long before anything he can do will help to make it better. Faulting Bush or the Republican party or the Easter Bunny won't do us any good either.
