New Excerpt, New Contest!

Hello everyone!  I hope you don’t mind that I took the month of October off from blogging.  A lot has been happening that I hope to be able to share with you shortly, but for now, let’s revel in the fact that we are back together, shall we?  I missed you.  A month is too long to be apart.
