Contest Time Redux

No one entered my contest last week… That may have been because I forgot to tell people I was having one. So I’m going to try again. Here’s last week’s post, and if it looks familiar, now you know why… The contest will run from now until Monday, November 5, at noon Eastern time.

Partly because I’m in a contest kind of mood, and partly because I’m overtired and still playing catch-up from going to GayRomLit (mentioned in my last post) and can’t think of anything to blog about.

I’m giving away up to 4 PDFs today (depending on number of comments. One prize per winner, so if I get fewer than 4 entries, I’m giving away fewer than 4 prizes). One each of Connection (Reality Shift 1), The Black Bridge (The Dark Lines 1), Cluing In, and Dolphins in the Mud. For more information about each book, please visit the book pages linked in the sidebar –>

Here’s how to enter: Leave a comment telling me why you read YA.

That’s it.

I’ll draw up to 4 names from the comments, and will contact the winners via email (so make sure your email shows up; they usually do to me when I check comments on my dashboard) as well as announcing them here next week. If I don’t hear from you within a week of posting the winners’ names here, I will draw a name to replace yours.

Don’t panic if your comment doesn’t show up right away; they’re often held for moderation. I will approve them as soon as I’m able, and I will know you’ve commented even if it doesn’t immediately show on the blog.

Good luck!

Kaje Harper Ooh, I want Dolphins in the Mud. Can I just leave my comment here? My browser is being a pain about website comments.

I read YA for the emotions, because everything is just that much sharper and more immediate when the characters don't have much experience to counterbalance it. I like the sense of discovery with teen main characters. And I read in remembrance of the days when a good YA book was my very best friend.
