This may be the single stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone say about transsexuality/transgenderism. Not surprisingly, I guess, it's from a "men's rights" forum, one of the many Internet phenomena I find intermittently, horrifyingly fascinating.
I do not subscribe to "gender theory." In fact, I find the idea that all sexual traits, e.g. masculine and feminine, are social constructs to be myopic and more political than scientific.
In other words, to me, if you have a "Y" you're a guy. You are free to call yourself a woman, but I am not compelled to address you as "she," or even a "transgendered female." But rather than pushing that in peoples faces I simply avoid the pronoun in most cases.
Should a man want to go through SRS in order to live a life as much as possible as a woman, I support his right to do that without facing discrimination or hatred from anyone, but I will always think of HIM as my BROTHER in the fight for his right to do so.

Never mind the multiple studies showing that trans people's brain scans overwhelmingly "match" the gender they identify as, because science is hard. And of course, FTM people don't even exist for this dude.
